About the course

This programme aims to provide the best possible qualitative professional education and training in the area of International Relations that would enable promising and determined young men and women to build their careers as public servants, international business people, career diplomats, social advocates and International scholars. It is to produce graduates who are socially responsible, knowledgeable and highly skilled in International Relations and Diplomacy. They are expected to become national and regional reference in the field of International Relations and Diplomacy, and to be able to explore and expand the frontiers of knowledge through teaching, research and publication. It should provide candidates with a broad and well-balanced knowledge of International Relations and Diplomacy techniques, and help them with requisite knowledge backgrounds and skills with which they can proceed to further their studies in special areas of International Relations, Multilateralism and Diplomacy.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS



The criteria for admission into M.Sc. and MBA programme will be as follows:
Matriculation requirement, which must be 5 O’level credits including Mathematics and English.
Candidates with Second Class (Lower Division) Bachelor’s degree in the discipline (for the M.Sc.) and from any discipline (for the MBA) from an approved University, or the Postgraduate diploma with a CGPA of not lower than 3.0 on a 5-point scale from an accredited university.
Graduates of other disciplines are also free to apply, but will need credible references, and shall be exposed to core undergraduate courses.
