About the courseThe MBA programme is aimed at providing candidates with the knowledge and skills that will enhance their performances and for the assumption of greater responsibilities in the public and private sectors. It is further designed to deliver the knowledge required for understanding, and for the practical analysis of problems related to management/and administration of public, private, and international organizations. It is to produce managers who are capable of applying appropriate management principles, and techniques for problem solving in the in the local and the global stages. Candidates are eventually expected to be socially responsible, and to become good entrepreneurs with quality leadership skills. Specific areas of specialisation are Banking and Finance, General Management, Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.

The criteria for admission into M.Sc. and MBA programme will be as follows:
Matriculation requirement, which must be 5 O’level credits including Mathematics and English.
Candidates with Second Class (Lower Division) Bachelor’s degree in the discipline (for the M.Sc.) and from any discipline (for the MBA) from an approved University, or the Postgraduate diploma with a CGPA of not lower than 3.0 on a 5-point scale from an accredited university.
Graduates of other disciplines are also free to apply, but will need credible references, and shall be exposed to core undergraduate courses.
