BAZE UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

On 7th March 2021, Baze University marked a major milestone in history - ten years of existence in the provision of quality and excellent tertiary education. The institution which was granted a provisional license on the 7th March 2011, took off with 17 students and one Building which was the nucleus of all academic and administrative activities at that time. Today, there are over 50,000sq meters of functional space in academic and ancilliary  structures including: the Administrative Block, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Computing & Applied Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Environmental Sciences and the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences with high-end equipment and facilities. The construction of the Teaching Hospital is well under way, and is expected to be commissioned before the end of 2021. The Library Complex consists of six Faculty Libraries and copious automation with 24/7 internet access, e-library, and Computers for use by Students and Faculty. The Staff Housing Complex has 16 Blocks of four Flats each and the Students’ Hostel consists of 2 Blocks for males and females with a capacity for 500 students. The University has had six consecutive Convocation Ceremonies and has produced about 1500 graduates in different disciplines: Law, Engineering, Management  Sciences, Social Sciences, Computing & Applied Sciences, etc. Management marked the 10th Anniversary with a cake-cutting ceremony and lots of best wishes for the next decade.
