Baze University NULAI at the Africa Colloquium on Clinical Legal Education.
18th March 2020 – Baze University Faculty of Law attended the Africa Colloquium on Clinical Legal Education organized by the Network of Universities Legal Aid Institutions (NULAI). The Colloquium was a four-day event, hosted by the American University of Nigeria, Yola. The Baze University Team consisted of Prof. Ernest Ojukwu, SAN – a former Dean of the Faculty of Law and Chairperson of Baze NULAI; and three other Lecturers in the Faculty - Dayo Ashonibare, Maryam Abdulkadir and Tosin Oke, who are also NULAI Clinicians. Prof. E. Ojukwu (in Bow Tie) delivered a Paper on Advancing Excellence in Legal Education while Dayo Ashonibare (in brown Tie) facilitated a session on Improving Standards and Practices in Clinical Legal Education in Nigeria.
