FCTA HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES SECRETARIAT VISITS BAZE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL
On the 24th November 2020, Officials of the FCTA Private Health Establishment Registration and Monitoring Committee (PHERMC) paid an inspection visit to the university for an on-the-spot assessment of the Baze University Teaching Hospital (BUTH) under construction at the northwestern edge of the university. The Registrar of PHERMC, Dr. Kazali Ayuba led a a seven-man delegation from the Health and Human Services Secretariat to Baze University. They were received by the University Registrar, Dr. Mani Ibrahim Ahmad and the Dean, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Ferdinand Om’Iniabohs and were taken round the construction site of BUTH. PHERMC is responsible for the regulation of the activities of all private Health establishments in the FCT.
