Student Representative Council Elections
We recognize that student engagement increases when students are given a controlled environment for their voices to be heard, when they have more ownership of their community and of their learning.
Therefore, on behalf of the Management, I am pleased to announce the resuscitation of the Student Representative Council (SRC) by the Vice-Chancellor.
The SRC, short for Students Representative Council, is the Students’ Voice. The ban on its activities has recently been lifted by the Vice-Chancellor. The SRC will currently have 20 members who are elected in Semester two each year. The functions of the SRC are guided by the constitution and code of conduct of the University.
