Dr. Bolarinwa Bolaji, hails from Osu in Atakunmosa West Local Government area of Osun state; Nigeria. He was educated at the Methodist primary school, Oke-Omi, Osu and the famous Atakunmosa High school, Osu for his primary school leaving Certificate and WASCE respectively. He bagged his first degree in Mathematics of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; Nigeria in 1994 and then proceeded to The Federal university of Technology, Akure; Nigeria for his M.Tech degree in Industrial Mathematics in 2005 and bagged a Ph.D degree in Numerical Analysis in the year 2012 from the same University. He started his lecturing career in 1995 and has risen through the ranks to the position of Senior Lecturer.He is married to Temitayo and the marriage is blessed with three children: Bolade, Obasanmi and Oluwasegunota.

Teaching Responsibilities

 He teaches Mathematical courses across many programmes of the University.and also the Head of Department of Mathematical Sciences.

Research Interest

He specializes in Numerical Analysis and development of Numerical methods for the solution of initial value problems of Ordinary differential equations and currently took up interest in Mathematical modelling specializing in Epidemiology: the study of the dynamics of the spread, control and cure of diseases.
